CRF Run Flat
Tire Inserts: Installation

#1 Inspect Wheel before Installing...Clean wheel and install "Metal Valve" supplied with your order.
#2 Ensure that the " CRF" Will properly fit your Wheel
!! Position "CRF" arcs against Wheel and confirm they
are properly mated. Install bolts to ensure "CRF"
is secure to Wheel drop center; continue to tighten bolts until
joint faces are togethe. For additional tightness, rotate
one or both washers 180 degrees as needed.

#3 Insert the two "Arcs" into tire with flanges and washers
facing up. Apply Locktite to bolt threads. Connect "Arcs" loosely
with one bolt... As shown in photo below.

The Bulldog Direct "CRF" is NOT a
run flat tire like [ Goodyear and Firestone's] run flat tires
; BUT! a tire rim insert that is custom manufactured to fit your
vehicle tire rim. Manufactured from a lightweight
Space Age Ballistic Composite and balanced during manufacture,
it will not create any tire-wheel imbalances. Use
your existing tires and rims!!

#4 Fit inboard tire bead and
"CRF" on your Wheel and allow "CRF" to move
into the wheel's drop center.

#5 With outboard tire bead
on outside of Wheel flange, place steel mounting rods [ mounting
kit provided with your order] in the 1/2" holes provided
on each side of the "CRF". Slip
adjustment band over mounting rods. Laterally spread
rods at top, closing the "CRF".
Install the remaining bolt, apply Locktite to bolt threads
and tighten all bolts and torque to 50 ft. lbs.
Installation takes about 20 minutes per Wheel.

#6 Secure mechanical
lock over all connection bolts. Attach with Phillip's
head screws provided. Mount outboard tire bead and
inflate tire to manufacturer's recommended pressure for load
carried. Re-Balance finished assembly, and your
done!!!
